We understand that countries progress through building strong communities and we’re proud of our role as partners in the process. We have supported national programmes which target youth, help in developing sports and culture and generally impact human growth and welfare.

The BHL annual charitable programme
Close to 40 key local charities/voluntary organisations benefit under our covenanted assistance programme. Their initiatives are targeted in such areas as youth development, family welfare, health, education, lending a hand to those with disabilities, and supporting the elderly.

Overall, during financial year 2004-2005 BHL provided funding to the tune of approximately BDS $250, 000.
